Black and White Programs/Booklets Order Form
Manuals, we base on a formula, combining black and white, with colour pages, essentially we price all manuals as per publication printing, with discounts already worked into pricing. The typical size is 8.5×11, page count from 8 (saddle stitched) to 300 (wiro or perfect bound). Rule of thumb is to price standard b/w pages at 6 cents each and colour pages at 20 cents each, including average stock costs. Bindery starts at $25, then becomes a piece rate of 50 cents up to $2, depending on quantity, and type of finishing. Certainly the more printed, such as 1000, the cheaper the finishing, wiro tends to be the most expensive, saddle stitching or stapling, being the most economical. Perfect bound is used for Annuals and other keepsake items, especially over 50 pages in length, wiro perfect for calendars and cookbooks, and saddle stitching for smaller books, maximum 48 pages as a rule.
